Teledyne RD Instruments WavesMon is a dedicated application for monitoring and processing wave measurements from compatible Teledyne ADCPs. It acquires pressure, velocity, and surface-tracking data to compute standard wave parameters, including significant wave height, peak and mean period, peak direction, directional spreading, and both non-directional and directional spectra. WavesMon provides clear real-time displays and post-processing tools for time series, spectra, and directional plots, along with basic quality-control features. It supports live data collection from deployed instruments as well as file-based analysis of archived datasets, and it offers flexible data export for reporting and integration with external analysis workflows. Designed for coastal, offshore, and research operations, WavesMon streamlines the conversion of raw ADCP measurements into reliable, actionable wave information.
